Ria Lins
After meeting during a workshop by Ruudt Peters in Ravenstein (NL), Els Vansteelandt and Ria Lins remained in close contact. Since then, Els also has been representing Ria’s work in her gallery annex studio in Brussels. Although their works are very different in nature, a great mutual appreciation exists and remains. While planning a joint exhibition at Galerie Guthschmidt in The Hague, the idea arose to explore whether interaction was an option. It was very important for them to preserve the individuality and recognizability of their pieces.
The result of this exploration is a collection of unique rings, each bearing the name of a remarkable woman.
